Moments of What Could Have Been
It’s beyond tragic to see what has become of the siblings from Campania. And this was a reminder of what could have been between the two families.
Their issues have been triggering for Danielle Cabral who’s going through the same thing with her brother, and it has not been a great trip for her.
This episode was bitter and sweet, but it made me laugh so much! Paul Connell’s family was visiting them, and his mother was a delight!
She kept calling Dolores Catania “a hussy”, and she kept making fun of the sexy calendar with the husbands.
The scene with Paul’s mother was so much fun! But it also seems to make Teresa Giudice reflecting on her history with Melissa Gorga.
There were some comments here and there where she talked positively about their history.
With Melissa however, it seems like she’s still in the mindset of skipping the wedding.
She’s still mad about Teresa talking negatively about her daughter, and after an entire season with digs like “I have no family” and “chosen family”, it might be too little too late.
But when they were going to paint on the walls at the Irish farm to portrait Teresa’s life, it seemed like an olive branch was forming. Just for a second.
I seemed like Jennifer Aydin ruined the moment by asking Teresa if she wanted Melissa and her family to be a part of the wedding, because she immediately said no.
I don’t know if Jennifer tried to clarify the situation since Teresa was going on and on about her feelings, or if she wanted to put a break on Teresa’s thoughts.
And Melissa’s wall just got thicker and taller after this. In her confessional she claimed that she refused her family to be props at Teresa’s fairytale wedding.
Seeing them laughing and having fun in the mood too made me sad that these two just can’t move past their issues and commit to be a family again.
They’ve forgotten the bootcamp they were on where they promised to never fight again. It was inevitable and it’s tragic.
