I have a lot of favorites of the Artemis II mission but the one that keeps getting me is how cheesed Reid gets at things just floating around

You know when you’re on a roadtrip and on your way back as you wind down from all the excitement of your vacation, you start to recognize the road signs and the buildings, you turn off the gps as you know exactly where you are. You get giddy at the thought of just sleeping in your own bed, smelling the warm scent of your own house.
I wonder if it was the same for the Artemis II crew. As Earth became bigger and bigger in their window, they could almost smell the salty air they would splashdown in. Yeah the moon is fun, but Earth is home. I wonder if there was a sweet relief as the sun became a yellow dot in the sky, the sky itself going from black and empty to blue and cloudy. The exhale they released as the salty water washed up on their windows the same way you pull your covers and nestle in your bed after a long trip.
Human record but it’s comments from a 15 year old instructable about how to hand wind yarn.
