Didn't think I'd just stop drawing Jazz Jackrabbit fanart, did you? Trying to up my brush stroke control game. Also experimenting with shading a bit, especially on metal surfaces. What do you think? Is it a failed experiment?

Bomb Demon: all animations + variant
This enemy is inspired by Bombshell Koopas from Super Mario Land. Its behavior is mostly the same as vanilla JJ2's Normal Turtle, but when defeated, it arms into a bomb instead of leaving a shell! This bomb cannot be defused by any means, and instead the player has just a few seconds to escape from the bomb's close proximity and perhaps make some use of it. It can still easily destroy enemies just as the Normal Turtle shell, and its explosion can destroy the Bomb Destruct Scenery blocks! Demon Dash also introduces the same use for those silly little cherry bombs that can't harm the player directly.
I took the Koopa inspiration further and added some variants of Bomb Demon, too. Regular red ones turn around on platform edges like every other walking JJ2 enemy does, but the Pinkies aren't afraid of heights and will simply fall off! The original Demon enemy also has this variant now, and will run off a platform happily if agitated. Both enemies also have improved physics for detecting if their floor is gone (destructible / trigger) and interacting with springs. A fun puzzle awaits those who choose to play the new demo as Lori!
The Float Bomb Demon isn't implemented into the game yet, but as you can likely tell, it's intended to be a stationary flying obstacle that turns into a walking Bomb Demon if damaged. Though obviously based on flying Koopas, in JJ2 terms its purpose is somewhere between a Float Sucker and Float Lizard.
Now to finish the demo's boss...
