April 28th, Salem

Been running around getting our tax free shopping done, meeting with friends and playing with the puppy.

Went to one of our favorite breweries, Xicha, to have lunch with friends. Still has excellent Mexican food and terrific beers. Took home a couple cans of their guava ale which is amazing.

Today had breakfast at the Elks with some friends. They are still struggling to get their kitchen and service back to where it was a few years ago. But the company was good.

In the afternoon, between rain showers, I washed the road grime off the rig and truck. D meanwhile helped our host hang a new TV.

Been mostly rain here. Weather shows a break one day and then changes it back to rain the next day. Doesn't look like we will clear until Wednesday.

Tomorrow we get up early to head to Roadmaster in Vancouver WA to get the Tow Bar PMd.
