We made the absolute most of it by snorkeling with white-tipped sharks, marine iguanas, sea turtles, penguins, and many other gorgeous sea creatures. From there we worked to leave this place better than we found it. We spent some time removing plastic and litter from the mangroves along the beach, a very significant ecosystem on these islands. Many of us wished we could have spent more time doing this service activity because this place has become so important to us. We ended our time in the Galápagos with a dance party; a fitting way to say goodbye to an exciting and unforgettable experience.
