Who: Evie & Amos @pcnsieves Where: Diagon Alley When: Evening, a few days after the party

Somehow things had gotten even busier at St. Mungo's in the wake of the ward opening and the tragedy. She still couldn't quite believe that something so awful had happened there. It didn't seem real. But every time she had to walk past the ward she was reminded that it was a crime scene before it had even opened its doors. When Amos had suggested that they go on a date, she had jumped at the idea. She wanted something nice to think about, was that so terrible? She loved an excuse to wear something a little nicer, and to spend the evening with Amos.

"Oh!" Evie exclaimed as they walked down the streets towards their dinner reservation. "Can we stop in Flourish and Blotts on the way? Please? I want to pick up a new book that just came out. I promise it'll be quick."

Who: Daisy & Melis @pcnsieves Where: St. Mungo's When: Blishwick Wing Grand Opening

Daisy felt like she was working two jobs tonight. She was there on assignment for the Prophet, but she was also there on Order business, and she was having a hard time reconciling the two. Was she thinking that everyone was suspicious because she was looking for suspicious people? Or was she looking for a story? She didn't want to be like Rita Skeeter, but she increasingly was feeling more and more like how she thought her brain worked, and it was a scary thought.

She had grabbed two bottles of firewhiskey, needing a break, and searched for a familiar face. She stopped when she found Melis. "Firewhiskey?" She offered the younger woman. "Are you enjoying yourself?" She asked her curiously. "I'm taking a bit of a break from my Prophet work. I feel like I've been talking to people for hours."

Who: Bryony & Felicity @pcnsieves Where: St. Mungo's When: Blishwick Wing Grand Opening

It wasn't a surprise that St. Mungo's was practically filled to the brim tonight. She supposed that for some, tonight would be the highlight of their week, or perhaps even their month. But people like Bryony attended far grander, and far more thought-out events regularly, and tonight was just to show face. It was important for the Parkinson's to appear in public tonight, although she had lost sight of her husband after Morcant had blindsided her. She was still so angry with him, but she was trying to not think about him marrying Winifred Yaxley.

She brought her champagne flute to her lips and glanced around the room, hoping to find someone worthy of her attention. She was rather glad to see Felicity Fawcett standing nearby. "Oh, Mrs. Fawcett, it's so lovely to see you!" Bryony greeted the other woman.
