It was dangerously close to becoming a routine. So much that they'd made adjustments to the wards so that Magnus could get in and out without always having to go through the Institute. But that didn't mean it wasn't a risk, it was. An emergency, the boys with a nightmare, anything. They'd discussed it plenty of times.
But sleeping without Alec was becoming increasingly difficult.
Magnus wrapped his arms around Alec, pushing closer. His eyes closed as Alec nuzzled into his hair. His own hand started brushing over Alec's stomach.
"I missed you," he admitted. And they'd spent so much time apart and waiting. Waiting now seemed impossible. "I couldn't stay away.' He turned his head up, lips pressing to Alec's jaw. "Do you mind?"
