Flynn doesn't usually go through the park. He wasn't sure what had possessed him to today, but Flynn seemed to be enjoying it. After all he was pulling a little at the harness. But -- Fred shouldn't be pulling. He knew better than that. Curious, Flynn lets the dog lead, the pair walking for several minutes before he stops and Flynn nudges his foot around for what Fred was so interested in.
What it feels like is a person. Quickly, Flynn drops to his knees, feeling around for the girl's pulse (and he knew it was a girl, because with burning red cheeks he'd accidentally brushed her boob), which luckily she had.
"Hey. Hey miss."
Gently, he shakes her shoulder, but doesn't get a response. Fred noses at her arm, but still she doesn't stir. "Shit," Flynn grabs his phone, asking Siri to call an ambulance as he tries to work out where they are. Luckily the paramedics find him, and when they arrive at the hospital, Flynn panics. He wants to find out how she's doing, so without even thinking blurts out;
"She's my sister."
It's another day before they let him in to see her, Fred already having charmed all of the nurses on rotation. Flynn's taken up residence in the chair by her bed, Fred curled by his feet.
