In a far off land, not too different from ours, lies a kingdom of culture, serenity, and happiness. Home to a noble king and queen, and their seven sons. Trained from young to protect their people in both combat and livelihood, the esteemed princes are known by kingdoms far and wide.
Known for being the funny one, who’s constantly posting hilarious and often unglamorous videos of the reality of being a prince
he’s got a natural way with words and he knows how to project his voice so that all eyes turn to him when he’s in a room
but he tends to remain initially quiet in serious situations
not because he’s frightened, but because he likes to take time to absorb and process all the information before giving his opinion
he really likes to consider all sides of an argument before speaking out
similarly when it comes to matters involving the kingdom or their people, shunya takes time to weigh all the advantages and disadvantages before helping to come up with a solution
the king and his group of royal advisers like asking for shunya’s opinion because he gives detailed insight into political matters from the younger generation’s perspective
all the boys go to him if they’re down and need cheering up
because shunya can do either one of two things for them
he can either listen to them and help them work through their problem
or he can make silly jokes and make them laugh until their stomachs hurt
he’s spectacular at both and these strengths are what make him special
although he’s way too humble (and doubtful of himself) to ever admit that he does have such an impact on people’s lives
he can be the life of the party, and other times he’s completely annoying his brothers with lame jokes

it gets even worse when shunya is drunk cause then he never. shuts. up
he’ll start talking really in-depth about the kingdom's relationships with neighbouring allies and he knows all the gossip about royalty from other kingdoms
he’s one of the least aggressive brothers but on a bad day he’d probably exchange june or yugo for a chicken nugget
just because
is typically seen wearing all black: from his trousers, to his leather jackets, down to his combat boots
you’ll see him wear neutrals from time to time but mainly black
he’s like, trying to keep up an edgy persona
he’s amazingly photogenic, even in public press shots
this coupled with his sleek taste in fashion always makes him look like a model
his crown is simplistic, with floral-like curves and diamonds
it glimmers under bright sunlight and makes shunya appear to have a halo
for his weapon, he started out using throwing knives and he progressively transitioned to using daggers
unlike younghoon, he prefers being up-close to his opponent as he feels it can get him closer to his intended targets
this is especially helpful to him when he wants to make sure the stab will be non-lethal
but his plain daggers grew to be boring and dull
and so he spent a full year designing, crafting, and remaking his weapon
he’s now added an enhanced feature that sets his daggers apart from others
he took his longest daggers and removed their middle portions, then inserted mechanics into the dagger so that he could attach canisters filled with deadly poison. finally, he attached switches to the handles of each dagger
to use it, he stabs his enemy as per normal, but with the flick of the switch, poison from the canister travels through a pathway within the dagger’s blade and exits through a minuscule hole at the dagger’s tip, into his enemy’s bloodstream
the poison shocks its victim’s and renders them immobile until they receive the antidote, but its only deadly fatal if the victim already has a weak immune system
he has seven daggers in total but he hardly uses his poison unless he’s in an extremely serious situation
typically fights defensively in battle, and doesn’t charge at his opponents
in the eyes of other nobility, shunya is the smartest prince. in the eyes of his people, he’s the funniest and most relatable. he’s tactful, endearing, and inventive all at once
he just hasn’t realized just how much he’s actually contributed to his kingdom yet
