Like a Walk In the Park || Dana & Jack
Jack looked confused as he followed Dana to the elevator “Let him smell me a little?” He looked at the other as they got on the elevator. These past few days he had been doing a lot of interacting with people and being so out of his comfort zone was keeping him on edge. As much as he tried not to look nervous it was apparent with the way he kept his hands in his pockets and his gaze remained on the floor. At the moment there weren’t many things on his mind, thinking was nearly impossible with the effect his newest prescription had on him. It annoyed him the way he couldn’t speak without rambling or mixing up his words, or at least more so than usual, he literally couldn’t be himself right now and it was frustrating.
When he was told that he wasn’t being a bother that had lifted a huge weight off his shoulders. He always felt like he was bothering whoever he was talking to but more so when he was like this. The fact that he wasn’t necessarily thinking before speaking at the moment had him worrying about what he might say despite that fact that he was barely staying still. ”He’s not going to jump on me or anything right?” His question was referring to Maoh as he looked up at the ceiling of the elevator “I’ve seen, like when a dog is excited and it’ll jump up on it’s owner and everything?” He looked over at the other man “Is that going to happen?” His voice didn’t sound like a whine when he asked, just curious.
