Bottling up the WAB Red IPA this morning!
They can’t all be winners! What a mess we had bottling the Pound Sterling lager this week. This beer has always been pretty foamy but this is crazy! In the end we partially filled the bottles from the keg (these were the best I did -- most were only half full) and then when the foam died back I poured beer from a filled pitcher...after I filled my own glass of course! I think we ended up with a beer or two floating in the tray! Just when you think you know what you are doing.....
A blueberry milkshake IPA called “Violet, you’re turning Violet, Violet” from Sasquatch Brewing! Beer from here.....
Fresh hopped Nugget Pale Ale finally in the bottle!
Third and fourth fresh hopped beers! Up top is the WC IPA made from our Willamette and Cascades and the bottom is a “Pound Sterling” lager made with, you guessed it, our home grown Sterlings! These were brewed late last week and we are still at it!
Second fresh hopped beer brewed today -- this one a Nugget SMASH Pale Ale! All fresh Nugget hops from here on the “farm” and there will be some more Nuggets for dry hopping as well!
Farmer/Brewer Dick just prepping some Horizon hops to add to the dryer later today!
