LORE DROP BELOW!!!!!!!!
Jenny may look sweet at a first glance but she's actually pretty different than you'd expect! When Jenny was a child, she was a huge fan of nature. They would often run into the woods to run around, enjoying the nice warm sun as the breeze danced along with her.
As Jenny grew older, school became one of the biggest tasks as most of her freedom was stripped away. Everything Jenny has ever done was already decided by their parents- not to mention the high expectations given to Jenny. The "perfect" child who has never done anything wrong! Over-praised... Never having to think for yourself... Sounds nice, doesn't it? At least, that was until Jenny slowly began to grow sick of it all. However, she must keep this frustration aside... Don't want to ruin that perfect child streak.
Jenny's only comfort came from a certain book involving wild cats... So obsessed, she wished to become one herself at one point! Oh, to become wild and free...
To others however...
"What a weirdo!" one of Jenny's classmates laughed, another classmate chuckling along beside them.
Laughter echoes through the hallway, scattered pages of Jenny's doodles cover the floor beneath her. Their favorite book now tainted of shame and disgust. Jenny's bottled up anger begins to bubble over quickly, like a cat ready to pounce.
Finally, Jenny snaps and immediately lunges towards one of their classmates. The two claw and yank each other, throwing punches until Jenny musters up all their anger and lands the final blow.
"A black eye???" gasped one of the adults inside the principals office.
Jenny had given one of her classmates a nasty black eye. So much for being a perfect child...
"It doesn't make sense." She thinks to herself. "I've been perfect all my life! How is it fair that someone can be so mean but when I do it, it's wrong!?"
The incident replays in their head. It was the first time Jenny had done something by their own hand. Nobody telling them what to do, think, or feel... Still, she can't help but feel like none of this is her fault. Why should it be?
"I allowed to be a little mean, right?- I deserve it!"
Eventually, Jenny was forced to join the scout program as a way to fix her sudden disobedient behavior. However, she was introduced late into the program and had a hard time finding new friends. Of course, with her new found love for rebelling against others, Jenny was often scolded from the adult scouts due to her behavior.
Jenny often ran and hid into the forest nearby camp, completely skipping important scouting lessons. Remaining ignorant would then led Jenny to become inexperienced down the road...
As Jenny came back to camp, it seems as though everyone had gathered around for an important event. An icebreaker... Great. As Jenny walked through the crowds of already paired partners, they sat down and waited. Surely nobody wants to pair up with someone such as herself.
That was until the sound of light footsteps came closer.
As Jenny looked up, a nervous scout with freckles and pigtails stood in front of her.
"Oh. Hi." Jenny gently waved at the stranger, a slight surprised look on her face. "I'm Jenny. What's your name?"
The scout fidgets with his arms and hands before replying in the quietest voice.
"Um... I-I'm Rowan."
The two then began to talk to each other, the beginning of a blossoming friendship between two now not-so-lonely children.
Jenny and Rowan began to hang out more as Jenny slowly grew to like the scout activities. Many secrets shared and changes embraced.. Although Rowan was still pretty shy, Jenny didn't mind at all. She was just glad to have someone around for once.
Not only that, he was just really easy to tease!
An exciting camping trip was coming closer and closer as days go on...
Suddenly, Jenny and Rowan were rounded up with a few other scouts for a special introduction. The scoutmaster proudly announced to the younger scouts that Zane, one of the (most coolest) older scouts, would be helping alongside them on their camping trip!
Zane... The Zane. Jenny and Rowan were ecstatic about the news as the group introduced themselves to the cool guy. Jenny was now beginning to think that maybe... becoming a scout wasn't so bad after all.
The three scouts would then get to know each other through various activities held at camp. Fire building practice, knot tying practice, cooking competitions, tug-of-war and a few card games help the scouts work together as a team before the big day!
Finally. The special camping trip had came. Many scouts had already packed their bags the night before, important items and gear ready to go.
"C'mon, ya slowpoke!" shouted a familiar teasing voice, soft chuckling could be heard along side them.
Zane and Rowan were waiting for Jenny to catch up as Jenny ran towards the two, almost out of breath.
"I'm coming, I'm coming.." Jenny replied, slowing down as the three began walked along side each other towards the plane.
The scoutmaster behind them made sure everyone was on board, counting each head through the crowd.
"Is everyone ready?" he asks, holding a pen close to his clipboard.
The three then look back one last time, their smiles as big as can be as they all reply in a confident tone...
