POPPY - An Exhibition curated by Simon Lundqvist and Britti Absolum
"POPPY is a tribute show for Poppy, the former resident cat at the Whitecliffe College of Fine Arts FA studios, who has provided comfort and companionship to countless art students over the years.
The artists paying homage to Poppy are Lewis Bourne, Arnika Keenan, Britti Absolum, Chivonne Torbet-Shepherd, Simon Lundqvist, Peter Walsh and Clare Gemima.
This exhibition is a way for everyone to come together to celebrate Poppy, a symbol of life for many at the Whitecliffe Fine Art studios. We are proud to be sponsored by Blue Duck Rare Vodka and Black Robin Rare Gin who have generously provided their products for special cocktails. These cocktails served on the night will be keeping in theme with the show and be inspired by Poppy."
