Snake or semi precious gemstone? 🤷♀️
Why Pearl got her name. Just look at that shine!
Pearl gave me a good scare today. Just got back from vacation, and the pet sitter didn’t see her once over the course of 10 days. Curiosity turned to panic as I uprooted her entire enclosure only to find her nonchalantly chilling behind the foam background.
The office is a mess while I work on Pearl's new gigs: a 40-gallon bioactive vivarium! I want to go for a very natural feel, so I'm trying my hand at making a 3D background, too! Definitely a challenge. Not really going like I expected, but I'm hoping it'll will look great when it's finished!
Miss Pearlie-girl's new enclosure! I remember reading that baby snakes prefer tight spaces, so they're suited to smaller tanks until they're older... That doesn't seem to be the case at all. She's often exploring and climbing her vivarium. Honestly, 40 gallons doesn't feel like enough. What size enclosure do you recommend for baby/adult corns?
Here she is! She's a whiteout tessera and my first corn snake! She's a bit timid but quite curious. I'm in love with her personality already. I'm planning to have a 40-gallon bioactive enclosure set up for her next week, which I'll post progression of, but in the meantime she's in quarantine while I monitor her health.
Corn Snake
Just a heads up, I recently got a baby corn snake. I know some of my followers keep rodents, so I just wanted you to be aware. I won’t post any pics/vids of her eating out of sensitivity to any small fluff owners (I also keep pet rats, so it’s still a little weird for me). If you’d prefer not to see her at all, you can blacklist #pearlthecorn
