Between looking back at my old attempts at Art and doing a repeat of A-level Biology “Almost there but not quite” is the haunting emotion that continues to torture the back of my mind
I know ur post was from ages ago but like do you have anymore gcse dance tips?? i would love that sm like i need help Idk anyone else who did it and I rlly need to do good on theory cus I'm actually shite at practical icl it's so bummy smh💔😖
for reference i did btec dance with pearson’s/edexcel
for your theory, make sure you ALWAYS say why. explain everything. even if it’s something small. for example, in my comp 1, i would take something as small as the colour of the lights in one shot, and i would turn that into a whole paragraph about how that represented each character. my biggest tip is just to always write MORE than you think you need to. it’s easier to cut things out than it is to add things in.
for practical, make sure you are engaged in each lesson. asking questions is really good and shows your dedication. for comp 2, you want to try and be as similar to the original rep as possible, even if your technical skills aren’t as good!! even if it feels cringe, make sure you always use facial expressions that are appropriate for your dance piece, as that is more than likely to be the difference between a grade.
