"Is it wrong if I think it's lame to dance?" The ghoul might have rhythm, but somehow that didn't translate well into dancing. He also thought it looked stupid when he saw someone else doing it, whether it was good or bad. He actually cringed any time someone put on a show like 'Dancing with the Stars' or something stupid like that. He grimaced at the tv screen, wondering why he forced himself to go through with this and if he just might be too nice sometimes. He snatched the bag of chips back from Fluvis, deciding that it was his turn to pick through it now since he had agreed to watch this stupid show with him. "This night's almost over," he murmured. Next time it was his turn to choose an activity.

“A chair,” he said casually. Way too casually because of course, there was no chair out here. Originally, he had used a chair to reach one of his hidden stashes on the upper floor, which had led him on a wild trail out a window and through enough trees that he was no longer anywhere near the actual building. Why? Because he’d seen a butterfly he hadn’t yet added to his collection but it was gone now and he was left in the tree. It wasn’t a bad spot actually and he was hidden enough that he could have some fun with people passing by without being spotted.

But, of course, someone would have to find him and it had been Mountain. “You know, earth life kinda sucks. Treelife is where it’s at,” he grinned. “Wanna check it out? Come on up, you’re invited,” he rolled backwards on the branch he currently sat at and hung himself upside down by his knees, his arms dangling below him now. “If Alpha can have a club, we can have a club. But above ground, not in some depressing catacombs,” he didn’t dislike the fight club, he just wasn’t the biggest fan of staying underground all the time.

Unlike the common belief that all Earth ghouls enjoyed plants and growth only it had turned out that Pebble much more preferred buggs and butterflies. He liked watching them, he liked studying them and he liked collecting them. If he was not at practice or annoying a friend or two with a corny joke, it wasn’t uncommon to find him outside in the garden. Especially when the weather was perfect for insects. He could be seen stalking, hiding, or leaping around on the grass or around the bushes, chasing after the little devils like a cat chasing a mouse.

It wasn’t that he didn’t like plants, he was rather good with them if he tried but they were just not as interesting as his buggy little friends. He actually owned a total of one cactus and one succulent that he kept in his room so let it never be said that Pebble didn’t care.

It was another perfect day to be outside looking for bugs and he had spotted a butterfly in the outside flower bed. Slowly he moved towards it with his hands held out, ready to catch the colourful little thing. He wouldn’t keep this one, he already had one pinned on his wall, he just wanted to look at it. 

“Got ya,” he said triumphantly as he closed his hands around the butterfly that now fluttered in its cage of flesh. He grinned widely as he raised his hands closer to his face to have a peek inside when he heard someone clear their throat. When he looked up he spotted Primo standing there, looking at him and his eyes widened before he stumbled backwards, out of the flowerbed where he’d stood. In doing so he accidentally released the butterfly that darted for his face first before it flew off. Pebble spit and blinked before he caught sight of it flying up and away. “My butterfly,” he pouted softly and looked back to Primo. “Uhm.. I didn’t..” he glanced at the footprints he’d left in the otherwise perfectly kept soil. “Sorry. I didn’t step on anything though,” he said and scratched the back of his neck. “I’ll.. I’ll fix it,” had Primo not been there, he might not have.

Pebble sighs and rolls his eyes, yet he still holds out his hand for his Papa to see. Of course, Pebble being Pebble and the hurt finger being the middle one - it's not hard to imagine the gesture. "You think I will lose it? do I have to put it in my mouth or on ice to save it?" It wasn't anything serious, just a slip of the tool, but he could always pretend to be dramatic.

"I'm not lost, Cupcake," the small earth ghoul rolled his eyes hard and shoved his whole arm into the vent he'd climbed up to. "I know exactly where I am and exactly what I'm doing, so please, do me a solid and do continue to fuck off the way you were going," he looks down at the fire ghoul, a fake smile put in place before he sneered and shook his head, going back to what he'd been doing before he'd gotten interrupted. There was something in there that he wanted, and he would be damned (again) if he didn't get the fucking moth for his collection.

Pebble did hold a lot of love and respect for his fellow ghouls, but he was just not the softspoken type he allowed siblings and worshippers to believe. That was all their image of him they projected onto him, not who he actually was.

"Uncivil, my ass," the small earth ghoul grinned in response. "I have the most sophisticated tongue, and a talented one at that. Would you care to find out?" he teased them, not really having any intention of proving himself at all.

Pebble was a natural power walker. He had short legs and all of his friends had long legs so he’d learned to always walk fast to keep up. So when he was called out he looked over his shoulder and was genuinely surprised by how far ahead he was. “You have longer legs than me, how are you not keeping up?” he asked once she caught up to him, now walking at a normal pace. Something he considered to be very slow. She wasn’t taller by much, but any extra leg length should make a difference.

“So we can either miss half the movie or be there on time,” his decision was already made up about that. Ivy notoriously did *not wait for anybody when it was his turn to pick a movie for the den to watch and tho Pebble might be uninterested in the movie itself, he wanted to spend time with the others, especially Ivy. “Come on, missy, one foot in front of the other, one two,” he teased and grabbed her arm to make sure he didn’t lose her again on the way, and to sort of make sure she walked faster.
