I was thinking about Peco's cute heart ring and how sweet if he gave a matching one to Micchy. For Peco's gift, Mitsuzane was traditional and gave chocolates, but early Micchy doesn't want people knowing he's a rich brat so they're really nice chocolates re-wrapped in a cheap box. =u=

 2 | Who’s the messiest? The cleanest?

Usually, Micchy tends to enjoy when everything appears proper, while Peco couldn’t care less. He calls his space an organized mess and whine when he has to clean. Chores wise, Micchy does most of the cleaning, although Peco helps when the other insists. Or rather when Micchy threatens him with the broom.

4 | Living space has a leak! Who fixes it?

Google. They grab the computer or a smartphone to try to figure out where the problem is for a while. Then they fight over the fixing part. “You’re not doing it properly.” “FUCK OFF MICCHY!”. Peco is slightly better at fixing things, but he doesn’t follow the plan and improvises something instead. It doesn’t always work out on the long run. So Micchy calls some repairman and calls it a day when he finds the kitchen flooded upon waking up the next morning.

6 | Going out to eat: Who pays? Who orders the most food? And who has dessert?

Rich boyfriend is very useful. Even if fancy restaurants are truly not Peco’s thing since he is not allowed to move on his chair and acts like he wants. They don’t do much fast-food as Micchy isn’t fond of the noise either. They compromise on the cute restaurant with delicious curry they can go to each Saturday. Peco doesn’t mind finishing Micchy’s plate when the other is full. The two adore spicy food and they enjoy to challenge each other with the spiciest one they can find on the menu. Dessert is something they both enjoy and so each order one.

8 | Who knows how to swim? Who doesn’t?

Since what happened the year before, Mitsuzane is not at ease any longer towards water, hence the way trips to the beach or the swimming-pool are not common. Yet, they go sometimes and he takes his time to enter in the water and stays close to Peco. Neither of them is a good swimmer though, even if they are able to manage. Usually, Peco runs towards the water and jump in it without caring much for the fact Micchi is too close. Wet and annoyed grape.

10 | Any pets? Or plants?

Erm. Peco is the pet (puppy). He has some tame pet kink where he enjoys to wear a collar and be fed cookies and cuddled by his nice master. Micchy doesn’t mind it, even if he laughed a lot at first. They both want attention so such game allow them to get it. It’s all cool. At least until Jonouchi visits (in the college AU I have with nenstitches he lives in the same building as them). Once or twice, they fostered pets during a couple of weeks to help Zack, who tends to rescue everything tiny and cute he sees. Plants tend to die by lack of watering, so they have given up on them. They get flowers sometimes though.

12 | Can they stand silence? Who talks the most? Who talks the least?

Complete silence is somehow frightening. A reminder of the empty manor or Baron HQ. Micchy struggles with words when he feels the silence build up, as if he couldn’t figure out how to get rid of it. So Peco fills it over and over, sometimes being kind and comforting or at other moments he is bitter and furious. At night though, they can accept silence as long as they can hear the other breathing by their side. That’s the moment for gentle kisses and careful embraces.

14 | Who is the highest maintenance? Does the other mind?

Micchy. He doesn’t stand to be forgotten (neither of them could accept to be left behind) or ignored. As if he was afraid of Peco vanishing or being bored with him. He is similiar to a cat who sits on his lap and nuzzle against his shoulder to tell him to put his damn video game away. Peco doesn’t mind. He pretends to be upset and groans a little, but he cares deeply for Micchy and he makes sure the other feels loved and cherished.

A shy brushing of hands, followed by the tentative silence of two who were uncertain of how to continue. They would never be able to explain it—not to their families, their teams, or themselves, but red against blue seemed to clash so perfectly that both were certain they could not give it up. And so Micchi decided that next time he was going to hold on for a little longer, and Peco was going to move a little closer, and neither were aware of the harsh future that awaited them.
