Today we bring you the cutest little bird, the Cuban Tody. Foremost it is very small about 4 in (11 cm) & 2 oz (59g). It lives year round in Cuba and its outer islands. They often travel in pairs. & sometimes repeat an odd & short "tot-tot-tot-tot" sound when perched, but its most characteristic feature, its beautiful colors aside, is a soft "pprreeee-pprreeee"; which is the origin of its Cuban name, 'Pedorrera." Its eaten by mongous & people in very rural areas. #cubatravel #beautifulbirds🐦 #cubantody #visitcuba #pedorrera #explorecuba #colorofcuba #bucketlistcuba #travelporn #bespokecubatravel #privatetravel #todidae #borntotraveltheworld #pearloftheantilles #birdwatching (at Parque Nacional Cienaga De Zapata, Cuba) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnXFZvNnibP/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1etj66wc9nzaa
