2016 is nu al een geweldig muzikaal jaar en voor mij is Nucleus van Witchcraft nog steeds de kroonjuweel (hoewel The Skeleton Tree van Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds wel heel dichtbij komt.)

En het wordt nog beter, want de grote man achter Witchcraft, Magnus Pelander, komt nog dit jaar met zijn solodebuut, Time. Eerste single ‘Umbrella’ is alweer fantastisch. Pelanders beperkingen als tekstschrijver vallen wel meer op, maar arrangement en melodie maken dat meer dan goed.
