#inktober #inktober2019 Heavy metal nights! I definitely overworked the final on this. Spent most of the day ideating but once I hit the stride, I should have kept the ink choice limited to ballpoint pen. There's a certain quality to fine ballpoint lines that not even pigment ink liners can replicate. Those that saw the linework in the IG story know what I'm talking about. I think for tomorrow's I will stick to one or the other. Conceptually, it's a visual kitbash of some of my favorite mecha/armor influences, including Gundam, BGC, DarliFra, and shoulder designs from Halo and Destiny. Anyways, same tools as yesterday, addition of Pentel RSVP fine for mechanical lines (hardly visible at this point which is unfortunate), and copic R27 and R59 for the reds.
