It being the holidays, I’ve been thinking about my Granny a lot and remembering the good times. I spent my college summers with her in Oklahoma and would often have trouble sleeping. One summer I read her shelf of John Grisham books and the next summer I read her shelf of Tony Hillerman #books. I really loved this series. Many nights they kept me awake instead of helping me fall asleep. So I thought I’d revisit the series. It transported me back to those hot summer nights, the smell of Cedarwood incense, and the excitement of trying to solve each mystery night after night.
