Percabeth in the Lightening Thief - since I reread the whole series not much time ago with some friends I started saving the progress of the pairing, since it’s cool to see how the relationship progresses. My impressions from TLT are very nice, to be honest. We know a little about Annabeths past, how Grover’s failed mission is the same one where she lost a friend, and now she lost Luke. She’s fierce, but obviously afraid of being alone. Percy doesn’t care about that and has trouble adjusting, but he has a bunch, and when I say a bunch, it is A BUNCH of self-steem issues. So Annabeth’s fierce loyalness just sets right in his chest from the beggining and the childish bickering is pretty cute. I really liked them in this book, since I was little, because they felt like close friends and fighting companions without romance having to be involved. I think it’s nicely done. also i think i’m gonna tag these posts as percabeth.txt hm
