people knew not to mess with the hook family. it’s a bit of an unspoken rule at this point because c.j. was a conniving little thing, harold had little to no qualms stabbing people with his hook and the oldest of the bunch? it was widely known that harriet was the leader of dragon halls’ pirate gang and the captain of the mourning star. people knew that she would go down swinging for her siblings. it didn’t matter that harry ran with uma atlantica and gil legume, it didn’t matter that harriet was a liaison of her brother’s rival gang. if someone messed with her siblings, not only did they have to answer to harriet, but they would end up being stared down by a man with a hook and eyes as blue as forget-me-nots. the isle wasn’t where captain hook had wanted to end up and maybe he wasn’t as good a dad as he could’ve been - should’ve been - but one thing was clear as day to him, it always had been: nobody messed with his kids.
