Tiny, but perfectly formed, plants of Viola micranthella growing on fine screes at 4270m. Cordillera Negra, Ancash, Peru. Also recorded from Bolivia and northern Argentina.

Just started my first flower bed ever and planted my first lilac tree!
I'm so excited to see everything grow and get so beautiful!

Bought these four perennials as part of a four for three deal. However when I got to the counter one of them wasn't included in the deal. But it was too late I had already emotionally bonded with it. From top left moving access they are called Dianthus, Erysimum capitatum (moonlight), Campania, iberis sempervirens.
