carmine and periastron are besties and carmine likes to braid their hair and theyy like to both match things with eaachother! think flower crowns, bracelets, peri wears stuff thats red and carmine wears stuff thats blue. they are friends and they have fun!!!

when periastron got adopted by barry when they were younger i think they wouldve been a little scared to sleep at night because they were still getting used to their new surroundings and cozy would help a bit by singing them lullabiesssss,,, (i think she would’ve still been a teenager when peri got adopted, so peri felt like they could trust her a little better because she wasn’t a ‘big scary adult’ like they saw barry as for a bit. despite barry being really kind with peri)

nowadays cozy doesn’t usually sing them lullabies anymore but she’ll do it if she’s feeling stressed and has to get her mind off things or if peri is sad and wants the comfort of her voice 🐛🐛🐛 semi-unrelated but barry also likes telling periastron stories about his day too ! or making up silly stories to make them laugh

projection headcanons GOOO!!!

spawn doodles him and ring together a lot, just doing little things together or showing affection (like hugs) but be never shows them to ring because he worries he would find them dumb and hate him (he wouldnt)

also spawn is very prone to mood swings. Just like ring and his irritability/anger going up and down cuz of his anger issues, spawn has a lottt of mood swings but they’re usually on the sadder side instead of anger. like he’ll go from happy to randomly sad and scared . Okay thanks

i think periastron has a hyperfixation on ducksss ^_~ !! they collect those little rubber duck toys you can buy at like bowling alleys in exchange for tickets from playing games, and they just have a bunchhh lined up in their room. id imagine while they never really got that close, peri gave spawn the rubber duck thats on spawns table in his house ^w^ (though peri had trouble parting with itt... but they wanted to do something nice)

also i think peri likes communicating in a lotta different ways despite being you know. obviously nonverbal!!! if theyre not really up for talking theyll communicate through their facial expressions, but if theyre up for it, theyll either write down their thoughts on a notepad, OR use sign language if they know the person theyre talking to knows it

cozy is a good sister to periastron!! i refuse to think that shes mean to absolutely EVERYONE. she DOESNT like lime girl, spawn or ring and she acts like the typical 'edgy teenager who hates their parents' (thoughhh i think shes like 18) to barry but peri is a whole other deal.

they dont have the largest age gap so cozy will act like yknow the average big sister to their younger sibling sometimes, but i DONT see her as being mean towards them. teasing? yes. being straight up mean? no. cozy loves peri and peri loves her, and i think cozy is one of the only people who theyre comfortable speaking around (since another headcanon is that periastron is selectively mute,, hi). cozy was also the person who told periastron about what nonbinary was since i think shes a lesbiannn 👍

anyway OKAY AWESOME i have wayy too many headcanons whoops. could i maybe mayhaps snag the title of peri anon 👀 I REALLY like periastron

okay this has probably been said before BUTTT i really like to think that spawn adn ring are queerplatonic partners. i dont at all think (or really at all like when others think LOL) ring was full toxic to spawn and vice versa, just that ring would have times where hed lash out at spawn and thered also be times where spawn would be very clingy to ring (which stressed ring out) theyre still good buddies i think!! theyre just flawed teenagers okay ? no one is perfect, after all!!

theyd also have sleepovers at eachothers places (usually spawns though since rings room is a mess of bloxycola cans) and cuddle because theyre freaking awesome (and also because theyre alone with eachother since id imagine ring would be very very shy about it). okay i think thats all i have for today. i love queerplatonic firespawn very much and hold it dear to my heart #ilovedaqueers
