Imma do this eleven questions thing so it doesn't slip my mind.
Rule One: Always post the rules. Rule Two: Answer the questions asked by your tagger and ask eleven more. Rule Three: Tag eleven people and link them to this post. (tagged eight, close enough)
Rule Four: Actually tell them you tagged them. (nah)
I was tagged by Jessica of derpingthroughlife and Miranda of far-flung-dreams-among-the-stars so here are their questions:
Miranda's:
Are you happy where you are now?
For now, I suppose so
Do you lead of follow usually?
Follow for the most part, although I do enjoy leading when I know what I'm doing
Does the thought of a higher power scare, calm, or confuse you? (or other)
It interests me more than anything, really. Like, logically, with our knowledge of the universe and the things around us, the idea of a higher power should be ridiculous to us, yet it endured
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I have no earthly fucking idea
What is your worst fear?
there's a couple, namely being alone and heights. At my current position in life, the stronger of the two is the former.
Would you be a sea creature, an earth creature, or a sky creature?
Earth, I'm happy where I am now.
What does love mean to you?
Caring so deeply for someone that you're comfortable enough to show them the real you
What 3 things are you most grateful for and why?
1. My friends - without them, I'd probably not be here right now.
2. My Family - They raised me and they love me unconditionally, what could beat that?
3. All the bullshit I've ever been put through - As painful and upsetting as it was, it's made me who I am.
What super power would you have?
Telekinesis, man. Like Chronicle, only less insanity
What are 5 things you couldn’t live without and why?
1. Books - They've fueled my imagination since the day I could read them.
2. My Family - And not just for the biological reasons.
3. My Closest Friends- See the three things I'm most grateful for.
4. My Voice - I speak and I sing with it, my two most prized assets.
5. Music - It's made me feel at different times like everything was going to be alright, or that it was okay to cry, or that the world was the greatest place on earth. Music can let us express the unexpressable and be honest with how we're feeling. It's the sounds of a beautiful summer evening, the soundtrack to the genuine happiness felt with friends, the echoes of despair at the darkest times of our lives, the shouts of anger at the unfairness of everything, the joy of being around the person you love. Music is emotion that plays out loud for all to hear. And I'd rather die than be without it.
What 5 traits do you look for in any relationship you have? (romantic/platonic)
1. The ability to laugh at and with each other
2. being Supportive of each other
3. The ability to be yourselves around each other
4. being honest with one another
5. (mostly geared toward romantic, though it can apply to platonic if necessary) The understanding that you can't complete each other.
