This is just an excerpt from the upcoming chapter of Perpetual Pause

As it is only his entire reason for being–the binding contract he signed at conception describes him as a tool in the shape of a person.   Every single day Endeavor hones his god given talent for the hunt. But as the sun sets he still burns his aching inferiority into the weeping skin of Shouto’s back, his shoulders, and his thighs. (He chases after the ghost of a legend, hoarding skill and strength like it could save him, when what he really needs is heart.)
