something that always fascinates me is how different languages have different dialogue markers for text (books especially). brazilian portuguese uses the long dash (travessão my beloved), english uses quotation marks, french uses guillemets (<< >> these lil things). why!!!!!!!! I don't know but as i learn another language this has once again moved to the front of my little worm mind
