how do you keep yourself motivated during map completion? i'm currently working on it aswell and i keep feeling overwhelmed, or get bored, but you're so speedy!
I feel that a lot - a big game changer for me, was Taco (https://www.gw2taco.com/)
It gives you an ingame overlay to follow. So you can basically brain afk complete the map. It helped me a lot to have a path to follow, than have to think over it while doing it, like - Oh did I got everything from that corner of the map? With the overlay you can blindly follow. It also gives you some info for how to complete hearts.
And for my entertainment while doing Map Comp, I either have a Stream or Video running on a second screen. Or I just blast some loud music. So if you see me weirdly running over the map - I probably move my Char(r) with the music :D
Additional nice Extension to have:
Guild Wars 2's largest and most powerful addon overlay.
Over that you can also install the pathing of Taco. Its very easy to install. I also got an extension that shows me the Heart Areas, so I don't accidentally leave the area and lose progress. Its named "Heart Boundaries"
