Quirks of Being an ENFP

1. Throughout my life, I have been in a variety of ever-changing extracurricular activities. These activities often have a creative theme because that is what draws me. They range from acting to painting to pottery to photography to the never-ending abyss. I enjoy things for a short period before I want to move on.

2. I make friends easily, even if I don’t really mean to. Sometimes, I’ll go to an event or a program where I’m not really looking to interact with people. Somehow, I end up making friends with random people and getting along pretty well. There’s a part of me that always wants to talk.

3. I have a short attention span. Don’t get me wrong when I say I love reading and learning, but there’s a part of me that always wants to get to the point fast. I’m also not one to read through the entirety of directions, opting instead to throw projects together like I see fit (sometimes to my detriment).

4. People and their eccentricities are the most exciting thing. I’m a sucker for biographies, documentaries, and anything that covers the life of a famous figure --- especially if it’s someone historical. I also like learning about strange hobbies and people who live lives that are different from the norm.

5. I’m not built for school. That being said, my grades are still good. My only issue is that it’s extremely hard to get into something unless I’m passionate about it. My level of attention is not ideal for studying or getting down to business in any way, shape, or form.

As far as I understand:

Reading = Knowing

Writing = Reflecting

Listening = Learning

Most of the times, we always tend to speak more and want to speak more than the others. But what we should really be doing is Speak Less and Listen More. As Stephen R. Covey says " We should seek to understand first then to be understood ".

When we speak we only repeat what we already know. No one can change this. But when we listen we may get an opportunity to learn something new, which might be of some use to us.

So , we should always try to speak less and listen more. It's beneficial in making deep connections with other people and for overall benefits.

Famous INFJ Characters

1. Joe Goldberg from You

Although his morals are clearly flawed, Joe Goldberg sticks to them relentlessly. He remains private to the general public, but is great at making deep connections with the people he cares about.

Atticus Finch is well-loved yet very reserved. He does what is honorable and right no matter what others think. His humble nature is in great contrast to his ambitious pursuits.

5. Stefan Salvatore from The Vampire Diaries

Stefan forms strong beliefs about human nature and sticks to them regardless of temptation. His heart is always in caring for others, and he does what is right until the very end. Still, he can appear as cold-hearted to those who don’t know him as well.

1. Jean Valjean INFJ

More so than any other character I’ve ever seen, Valjean is an idealist. He doesn’t seek fame or fortune, but rather a peaceful life where he can care for others. He defends Cosette to the grave, using his days to become a “better man” even though the crime he got imprisoned for was stealing a loaf of bread. Yep, that’s right. 

2. Cosette INFP

From what we can see of Cosette, she’s a dreamer. She lived in her inner world during childhood, imagining a castle in the clouds where she would finally be happy. As a young woman, she saw Marius for the first time and immediately fell in love. She followed her heart, and in the end, it worked out for the better.

3. Marius ENFP

It’s a great GIF, I know. Marius, like Cosette and her father, is a dreamer. When he finds a cause that he resonates with, his passion shines through. He is a charismatic leader, but still tunes into his emotional side when necessary. His altruism and caring nature are what draw crowds to listen to him.

4.  Éponine ISFP

This might just be due to her upbringing, but Éponine is extremely street-smart. She is emotional and shy, yet she hides these feelings behind a tough exterior. She marches to the beat of her own drums, showing her bravery when she leaves her father to join the barricades.

5. Javert ESTJ

If there’s one thing that defines Javert, it’s structure. He adheres to the rules no matter what, and is a sucker for order. That’s why he views Jean Valjean’s situation as black and white. He wants to deliver justice, and when he doesn’t, he is lost.
