Participation as a speaker in the annual conference of the Association For Art History, 9-11 April 2025 at the University of York
Katerina Valdivia Bruch will present the paper with the title "The Peruvian Connection: CAyC, Early Cybernetics, and the Experimental Art Scene in Lima of the 1970s." The presentation focuses on the connection of the Centro de Arte y Comunicación (CAyC) with Peruvian experimental artists – Rafael Hastings, Francesco Mariotti, and César Bolaños –, and CAyC's involvement in two exhibitions held at the Instituto de Arte Contemporáneo (IAC) in Lima in 1971 and 1972.
