Hello everybody, and welcome to Pesterfest!

Pesterfest is a brand new online Homestuck convention set to take place in Q2-Q3 2026. Think of what you expect from a convention - on topic panels, artists selling merch, fun events/activities, and meeting people with likeminded interests - but instead of being hosted in person, the event is entirely digital! This allows people from all over the world to experience the event and all it has to offer.

We hesitated on coming forward this early into management, but we're very curious about what you all would like to see out of this event. For this purpose, we have made an Early Interest Form! You can use it to make direct suggestions while contributing relevant data.

If you'd like to make a mark more directly, you can also join our volunteer team! We will be accepting two more team members with experience in any of the following:

- Social media or project management

- Video editing

- General art or design

Everyone over 15 is welcome. This means there will be (and already are) minors on the team, so if that makes you uncomfortable, I'd encourage you to refrain from contacting us further.

Our first 3 events are open for submissions! These are the:

Max of 30 projects

Artists' Alley

Max of 20 artists

Panel Program

Max of 24 panels

All of these close in 2 months from now, so March 20th. Good luck to all those who decide to join!

Pesterfest has a webtile now! Nothing new is actually on it, but hopefully it brings some attention to the site. Say hello to our neighbors as well!

From Kuroka: If you frequent the indie web, Webtiles is a fun way to rep your site, I recommend it. It has support for not only Nekoweb but Neocities sites as well as independent hosting!

It's official: Pesterfest will take place from July 24th to the 26th!

That is 3 days of Homestuck panels, merch displays and group activities! The schedule has not been finalized, but will be spread out across that timeframe.

These two Pesterfest attendees are obsessed with the opposite species’ respective chatting application. So the troll prefers Pesterchum, and the human prefers Trollian. It leads them to get into lots of arguments about which one is objectively superior, but they stay besties anyway.

The troll is Ravati Wazawa. She’s a goldblood, but it’s not like that matters in this shared human-troll society anyway. She’s friendly, but tends to be a pestering annoyance. Her typing quirk replaces Os with 😀s.

The human is Tori Lathan. Despite being the more reserved and calculated of the two, she is much more prone to shenanigans. She likes to ragebait people.

Feel free to tag us in fanart and we'll reblog it. The next week's blogpost will be about their conception and other ideas we had, so make sure to tune in!

EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED

Hello! We're an online Homestuck convention and we're looking for help. Recently, our impromptu project lead was made unable to work on the project longtime, so we desperately need a new one to continue operating.

PROJECT LEAD = LEAD OF OPERATIONS

As a member of Operations, you will be dealing with the internal operations of the team running the event, as well as operations of the event itself.

As Lead of Operations, you will be in charge of finalizing any cross-department decisions as well as trusted with any emergency decisions and reports being made.

We are looking to find multiple volunteers from different timezones for this position, all 18+, preferably experienced but we'll take what we get (as long as you're confident in your abilities).

Alongside this, all positions in our previous post as well as this post are still open.

We're opening slots for a couple crucial leadership positions for the following departments:

Writing & Editing

HR

Operations

Note we are a team of volunteers, so you will not be paid for any of the work you do. We apologize for the inconvenience!

18+ only

Shown experience in leadership positions is required. Doesn't need to be in a professional setting as long as you can back yourself up.

Writing & Editing

The Writing & Editing team is in charge of written content for the event, including announcements, e-mails and answers to important questions. As lead, you will be in charge of all decisions made solely within this department, as well as communicating with HR and Operations about the department's progress.

HR

An internal moderation position. You will be expected to handle internal disputes, private reports and the like. As the team lead, you will also be in charge of any emergency decisions, cross-department or otherwise.

Operations

The Lead of Operations is the highest leadership position. In charge of cross-department decisions and general event management. This is a very important position, so we will be accepting a couple potential candidates for the lead and the rest will be bumped down to regular team members.
