Recyclable-n-Safe rPET Bottles and Containers
Although polymer scientists and technologists formulated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) with assorted applications, particularly in packaging, environmentalists voiced their concern. They contended it is a non-recyclable matter and hazardous for the ecology.
Fortunately, such fears were short-lived, thanks to the efforts of a British company named Wells Plastics that carried out extensive research to prove that PET is oxo-biodegradable by using an additive Reverte and it was named rPET. Since this novel formula was in the cause of the ecological preservation of the Earth, the product from its application was aptly named the Planet.
Thus those innovative efforts have resulted in the PET Planet in various colourful and attractively shaped bottles and other containers. This Green bottle from rPET was widely accepted across the world for its unique qualities like –
Sources being sustainable and eco-responsible
Scope for collection for recycling
No additives which may adversely contaminate the contents
The Delhi NCR-based Ashish Tools having its manufacturing unit at Noida was among those first Indian companies to revamp the design and production facilities for the Planet. This company had already earned global name and fame for the expertise in intricate tooling of various moulds including caps and closures that are tested for perfection on its in-house Injection Moulding Machine of 250 tonnes capacity.
The other notable assets of this company have been its design studio with state-of-the-art systems like 3D Profile Projectors for in-process checks and also end product testing. Its floor shop is fully equipped with latest CNC machines such as DMG, Mori Seiki and BFW, all manned by highly qualified engineers and expert technicians.
In addition to these, the company has the best of assembly line alongside testing and calibration systems of internationally famous brands with a proven record.
