Got my ordered books from Ulrich Klieber and Peter Jenny today. I'm a little surprised about Peter Jenny's book format - it has the size of a A6 notebook. But the printed images are still large and clear enough. Most are simple drawings and not overly complex and detailed Paintings like Rembrandt's. Ulrich Klieber's book has some nice ideas which I'm curious to try these out.
I'm also playing Deus Ex for the 100th time now. I absolutely adore the game despite its outdated graphics. This game is not only my all-time favorite (Invisible War is a close second, Human Revolution third) but is also the reason why I love well-written Cyberpunk games in general. I'm curious how Cyberpunk 2077 from Project Red will deliver. But I think nothing can ever compete with Deus Ex story-wise. I love games with interesting characters and awesome storytelling. Too bad game publishers and developers don't seem to think so, as they keep pumping out thousand of mindless shooters and battle royal games over well thought-out and interesting story-driven games. Between all this pile of crap today, you'll find sometimes such gems as The Witcher 3. As I don't have much time to play anyway, I'll stay with my old games. Back to Deus Ex: this game had also a great influence on my personal work (working on a sience fiction project - well, if it ever gets published, haha).
