heartbroken 💔
thank you for everything you did Peter, for the hockey community. you were the best in the business. you were loved by the entire state of Colorado and the world. Rest easy buddy
rest in peace peter mcnab 🕊️ thanks for everything. it was such a joy to listen to you on avs broadcast. it won’t be the same without you. my heart goes out to peter’s friends and family.
I tend to make a tribute post for the losses that mean a lot to me for one reason or another, because I think it’s important to make note of the impact people have on our lives, but this one is gonna be tough. Peter McNab has been a part of my life since I was able to comprehend the words he said. I’ve been a lifelong Avalanche fan, and his voice has been a constant throughout my time watching them. Commentators bring so much to a sport, but Peter always brought the most. The most passion, the most fervor, the most joy, the most laughter and the most love. He watched a team start at its peak, slowly fall into irrelevance, claw their way back into contention, and then fall off an absolute cliff, but he still met the camera before every game with a smile. He knew the game incredibly well, but more importantly he knew how to pass that game on, to share his knowledge and to spark a passion in the heart of the fans watching. I’m left with some solace in knowing that he went out with the Avalanche on top. The pure joy in his voice brought tears to my eyes to begin with, but hearing it now causes a torrent of emotions. So thank you Peter. Thank you for every bit of love and dedication you showed to a team and a fan base that I love so much.
I LOVE IT WHEN THEY COMPLIMENT JOSTY
