Just before #lockdown2 I was able to visit the @rableygallery in #Wiltshire to see the #peterrandallpage #Exhibition; ___'A little bit of infinity'___ I was made to feel very welcome by #Artist #curator and #gallarist Mery Setchell Ainslie, who guided me through the exhibition talking about Peters work. Online the show does not to beging to tell us of the beautifully drawn Indian ink repeated seemingly endless patterns, created I am told; in his isolated #cabin during #lockdown1 whilst his 'team' of #masons were #absent. #drawing #art #fineart. As part of my #masters @nuamasters my work is concerned with a sense of place #psychogeography #flaneurism. #monuments past and present, #thinspaces, #discovery #otherness #fernweh and my response to it. Viewing #Randall-Page's sculptural forms is reminisant of the carved patterned stonework found inside #longbarrows #tumuli of Brittany and Ireland #archaeology. I recently read that Peter was interested in the #Labyrinth at #ChartresCathedral. #sculpture #fineart #infinite https://www.instagram.com/p/CHhqMlJjL6Y/?igshid=1ex0vse69t9st
