Cinnabar-moth+cats_3636-6100 copy by Peter Warne-Epping Forest I have better pics of the moth but in the interests of authenticity this particular insect was snapped laying eggs on ragwort just 2 weeks ago. Time has passed and the eggs have hatched into these striped babies. They can decimate a ragwort population which are not well tolerated by cattle.
