What a Day in London || Wendy & Edward
London surprised Edward immensely. He'd heard of the place from Giselle, she'd never been herself, but she described it as a very lovely place, where people sat around drinking tea and spoke very strangely. She was right and wrong. He didn't see that much tea drinking, but the people did speak quite strangely. Some people spoke as if they had a bee stuck up their noses, and there were also people who babbled on in some strange language similar to his own.
He'd never expected to go there himself, but then again he'd never expected Narissa to have multiple portals lying around the gardens. He couldn't remember exactly what had happened, one second he was singing in the gardens, the next he was somewhere else. At first he thought that he was in New York again, the city was strange anyway, but, with the help of a few signs that clearly stated LONDON, he soon worked out that it definitely wasn't New York.
Edward thought of London as a cross between New York and Andalasia. It was just as busy as New York, but at least the locals were politer. He bowed to some people, and they returned the gesture, though they did seem a bit confused about it. Still, Edward found London incredibly dull. It was slower than New York, and much less colorful People still gave him strange looks as he walked past, but he wasn't shouted at here, it almost made him miss New York.
It was getting dark and Edward was considering going back, but he had no clue where to go. He didn't take much notice of the local landmarks, and the only place he remembered was the building with the unnecessarily large clock. Keeping his cheerful attitude up, he made his way back to said clock, in hope that he would remember where to go from there.
