Dakota’s cheeks turned a bright red and she quickly looked away, flustered by his comment. “It’s not because I have something on my face is it?” She quickly wiped her cheeks with the back of her sleeve just in case only looking back at him once she was sure there wasn’t anything. The Harpy smiled softly and reached forward lightly kissing his cheek as she slowly started to realize what he meant by that.
Scott chuckled a little, smiling softly as she wiped at her cheek. “There’s nothing on your face, Dakota,” he promised her, gently taking her hand so that she would stop rubbing at her reddened cheek. “I just wanted to give you a compliment,” he said, feeling a little awkward at the way that it turned out. The awkwardness slowly began to dissipate as she leaned in a pressed the kiss to his cheek, his own blush spreading across his cheek bones.
