tfw i want to post art and ocs but im insecure about it

anyway here's the guy who's been dominating my thoughts the last few weeks/months i guess. farhan (hero name: blue flower) my beloved. i played him in a masks campaign (masks is like dnd but with angsty teenage superheroes, would highly recommend)

the bottom right one is him at age 20, the rest are him at age 16, i hate backgrounds as a disclaimer i just fucked around and found out

here's his super old hero costume, back when his hero name changed all the time. he went through Some Shit in the campaign i used him in tho and he got inspired to actually make a final decision on his hero costume and name (waoh, farhan making a decision?? unheard of). this is also super old art </3

bonus content of him with his eventual husband because he does find happiness in the end and i love that for him

id share my art of his superhero team but like i dont wanna show other ppl's player characters without their permission lol

i could also talk like ALL DAY abt the character arc he went through and his whole backstory and shit but i wont because im busy and also insecure sooo <3 anyway good day. pls feel free to send questions abt him to my ask box im think about him always

I know pride month is nearing its end, but I still wanted to draw my main protagonist with his pride flags :) he’ll be in my upcoming novel, alongside some other LGBTQ+ characters

Peyton hadn’t been too excited to come back to school this year, after the whole fiasco the semester before, it was embarrassing. She had wanted to just transfer back home and go to the local community college, but Peyton was stubborn. She had to get a degree from this school no matter how much people talked about her. It was welcome week and as everyone made their way to the involvement fair/ picnic she sat on the fountain, canvas on her lap and pastels next to her, headphones blasting in her ears so she couldn’t hear people gossiping about her and why it looked like she was the only student not at the picnic.

in terms of character design i think a looot about in-story context. like my favorite character design i've ever done is my oc farhan's hero costume, but someone could never understand the full significance of certain design elements without knowing the character designs of his sister and her boyfriend, their collective backstory as a family, etc.

idk how to say this exactly but like, character designs exist in context and are enriched when put side by side. and i absolutely love designing characters with their personal connections in mind
