AHH OHH NOO but what f there’s an entire week or two where sasaki has to go on temporary leave for training and he tells amon about it after school (the day before he has to leave ) and amon is pretty calm about it, he doesnt say anything that would make him seem u know, sad or disappointed, because he doesnt think it’ll be so sad you know??but during the third day of the first week after sasaki left, he realizes jut how much he looked forward to those days he came ub
on the fourth day of the second week he starts showing how much he misses him
he’s moping and sighing often when the kids arent around, struggling to teach the lessons with his usual enthusiasm
he makes absolute sure the kiddies dont notice because he doesnt want to project such negativity on them but he isnt the only one who misses him lots, the quinx children rlly miss sasaki too and have been bugging about him, “where’s papa” is how they ask and amon feels his heart burst when they ask him like that and??
he very much misses sasaki as well but he has to keep up his strong mother like image and reassures the four of them that he’ll be back soon
(meanwhile sasaki is trying to hurry and finish up his training but it’s taking much longer than expected and he wants to hurry and see amon and the kids too)
