"So," Zoa says, with a grin on her face that shows her fangs. "Who wants to raid a clothing store?"
Humans had so many clothes. They wouldn't notice a few items missing, right?

@hesperio sent: A rare gift indeed! An egg in a box, packed carefully with a bundle of apples as well. The egg wobbles with anticipation, and a little bit more walking shows the first cracks in it. When it opens, the little dragon looks nothing like the typical Applin. The little green worm blinks one eye and then the other before squeaking and burrowing into the nearest apple. You received: an Applin!
Zoa isn't sure what to expect when she opens up the box. She had opened it in privacy, in her Zorua form, with Fomantis and Charcadet sitting beside her. An egg? The gift is a surprise- even if she had barely passed by the teacher in the halls with her spare visits, this box had found her way into her hands anyway.
Guess she made more of an impression than she believed? That or he really did need these off of his hands.
Then the egg cracked, and opened. The little worm blinked up at them, one eye than another, then buried into one of the apples in the box. Zoa scampered over to her bag, pulling out one of the pokeballs she had bought, then offered it to the Applin.
Charcadet is the first one to speak. "[We're your family now! Oh, this is exciting- I've never seen an applin without the apple!]"
Zoa watches as the Applin continues to stare, then roughly push against the box to bonk against the ball. Zoa almost drops the ball when it shakes in her mouth, but it clicks.
"[We're a group of four now,]" Fomantis says, nodding. "[I hope you know not to touch without the gloves, Charcadet.]"
... This could be an interesting task, raising a Pokemon where all parties involved were Pokemon. Oh, and one of them was also a part time trainer, that was an important part.
@kablamow sent: "So, like, this is soooooo random..." He's twirling his hair, holding something behind his back. "But, like, your pokemon are just sooooo cute that I just had to get you some things, you know? So, like, take these!" There it is. The grand reveal of what he was hiding: a box of various little accessories for Pokemon and people alike. "Most of these used to be my Bombirdier's, but she hates them, so maybe you can take these off my hands? Also there's some things of mine I just don't like anymore. C'mon, take 'em!" Before Zoa can even argue, they're shoved into her hands, and he's already off going somewhere else.
Zoa stumbles back a bit from the force of the boxes in her hands- don't ask how it works with her illusion- and is about to open her mouth before suddenly the culprit of the sudden gift giving sprinted away.
The Zorua in disguise opened the box, and sure enough, different accessories lined the inside. Her eyes trailed where Matchstick used to be, then back down to the bag.
Fomantis frowned at the bag, but reached in and grabbed a bow.
"... Thank you." Zoa says to the air, getting up. "Let's go somewhere else to explore this a bit more without cluttering the road..."
dj divorce!
@chcsen-cne sent: "Hey hey come try my sandwich." It's a BLT. On mustard and horseradish. Relatively normal for a first sandwich. All the better to lure in an unsuspecting fool.
Zoa takes the sandwich in her hands, observing it. She can't exactly eat it in her human form quite yet, but she takes a piece off and hands it to Fomantis.
Fomantis plucks off the bacon, then chomps into the remaining sandwich. There's a pause when she does, right in the middle of her bite, unmoving. Fomantis then spits it out, shoves the sandwich back into Zoa's hands, and crosses her leaves, looking displeased.
"... She can be picky." Zoa supplied, sighing. "Gimme a second to eat."
... After ducking into a nearby shadow to shift back and eat the sandwich, she returns, grinning. "It was pretty good!" She brushes a crumb off of her person- she did actually eat it. "I like the mustard and horseradish combo!"
Fomantis huffs again.
@rathalost sent: 'AURA CAN SEE THROUGH THE TRICK OF THE EYE.' Saga remarks coolly, sitting beside the disguised Zorua as they watch Mari practice some techniques alongside her other pokemon. The others are out of earshot, so the lucario feels comfortable voicing her thoughts in natural pokemon tongue. 'What inspired you to do this? Out of curiosity.'
Zoa watched Mari train with her Pokemon, along with Fomantis, who wanted to do some training as well. Zoa didn't join because she wasn't one for training, but now she was next to the Lucario... who told a bit of her species abilities.
Zoa would keep that in mind for any Riolu she came across.
Zoa placed an elbow on her knee. A bit of it clipped through before she corrected it. "Well..." Her eyes glanced over to the others, and then back again. "I wanted to see the world on my own terms. I had seen nothing but forests, and Fomantis' brother had talked about a lot of the things he'd seen from being with a trainer."
"I knew Zorua aren't liked much." Zoa looked a little downtrodden. Her fingers trailed against her hair. "I thought that would go for most trainers. So, when those humans moved into the thicket, I learned from them." Zoa smiled, slight fangs showing. "I formed my illusion myself, and Fomantis wanted to get stronger, and came with me to be my partner Pokemon."
Zoa glanced back up to the sky. "I'd never seen a sky unimpeded by trees until I decided to leave. It's really pretty." Back down and to Saga. "... How about you? I've been ... thinking on how I'd get to recruit other Pokemon to seem more... rounded? Why'd you join Mari?"
@achampionswings | random starter :3
... The Tropius talked.
Zoa could understand how she talked- it was a manipulation of the air around her illusion, a natural extension of her abilities as one of the Zorua line, and she could even say minor sentences as a Zorua without using them- but a Tropius?
Zoa's eyes trailed down the Tropius' bag. A hand lifted to curl a strand of hair.
Would it be safe to talk about being a Zorua? Where did this Tropius even come from to be completely free about her speech and so confused about it?
... Might as well greet her back. "Um, hi. I'm Zoa." Zoa smiled, continuing to curl a strand around her red-tipped finger. "Do you... have other Pokemon?"
@kablamow sent: (throws rocks at) oh my god, i'm like, soooo sorry because i was trying to aim for that rock over there and, like, you just happened to be walking in the path! are you okay?
The rocks seemed to affect her skin strangely- bouncing off and rippling her skin a bit instead of just. bouncing off with a mark. Though maybe that was a trick of the light, with how some marks appeared there after you blinked.
Zoa frowned, backing away. "That wasn't- I-" Did they know? Did they see and decide they wanted to mess with her like this? Did she slip up somehow?????
"That hurt..."
