I'm working on making Christine's dressing gown for a convention in a month and had an intereating setback today.

So the angel chestplate. I actually found one angel brooch quite some time ago and have been searching high and low for the other on the set ever since. About a week ago I thought I'd finally found it. It's silver, but my gold one needs to be fixed up anyway, so I figured I'd juat paint them both gold.

For reference, this is the one I've had sitting on my shelf for a while

And this is the one I found and ordered about a week ago

Seems great! Seems perfect!

But the silver one arrived today and---

Honestly I'm not even mad, it's just funny. Disappointing, sure. But mostly funny.
