Sometimes I just appreciate that Minatsuki went from being a terrified kid from an experimentation facility, with a barcode for a name, to being as successful as he is. He was an elite criminal boss at an age that’s implied to be around 20 and his mistakes were mostly — if not entirely — a consequence of his genes acting up. We’ll never know what kind of metamorphosis put him on this career path and how much Laica contributed to it but it’s a job well done either way.
