Hi, everyone! I'm still working on the comic. In this version, we follow a talented girl with a big dream and her flamboyant, monster boyfriend.

This Phantom has a fondness for superstitious people, so if you believe in curses, aliens, and flying saints, congratulations! You're the kind of person the Phantom loves to manipulate.

I'm so excited to finally announce this work, but there's still a lot to cover before giving it to you, right now I'm working hard to perfect the story, I'm organizing everything for the first episode to come out in July, it'll be in the eComic format (like an ebook).

Wait, so what is the POTO comic you're making?

Thanks for asking! You see, I studied cinematography and spent a lot of time exploring obscure Mexican Gothic films and books that are not well-known abroad. Their ideas and imagery align perfectly with POTO. Combining that with Guillermo del Toro's vision of monsters, I'm confident this comic will be something awesome.

The story takes place in Gothic Mexico, 18XX, where after the mysterious death of a famous opera singer and her entire orchestra, a small-town girl strives to become a diva. With the help of the dark Phantom of the Opera, she must climb the ladder of fame. But beware, where there's an angel of art and creation, there's also an angel of destruction and death.

So what can you expect? A longer story, with new narrative arcs, adding depth to both familiar and new characters, Christine is awesome, Raoul is a cute boy, the Phantom is a crybaby. There will be a fresh origin story for the Phantom (I'm sure you'll love this one) and many other things. I hope you all enjoy the comic when it's ready. It's a project that excites me immensely.

I'm obsessed with your phantom design for your comic, the mask is soooo cool. He looks super cool in general. I'm so used to you drawing him like a babygirl I'm curious about how you are going to portray him in the comic (unless he just looks cool and internally he's still a dorky crybaby all along. Plot twist 👁️👁️✨). Love your work, can't wait to see your take on the story!

Thank you!! Since the story will be longer we'll have enough time to see him being both cool and dorky, it's a gothic romance with a good amount of comedy.
