Hey guys I am usually not much for posting personal stuff but this week will be rough for me. I have had my chocolate lab peanut since she was a puppy and this Saturday it is time that we put here down. She is 14 in human years, blind and has diabetes, so it is time. But it is still really hard. So I know I haven't posted much this last week and I probably won't do much this week. I will try and get a story up soon. Thanks guys
Wish me luck guys! Today is my first day shadowing a veterinarian in my town! It's the first real step towards my future! I am slightly terrified for I am really shy and I have never met this particular doctor at the clinic! Well here I go!

--- Flash back---
18. You finally hit the magic number. You were an adult, in the eyes of the law that is. You have been considered an adult sense you were about 10 when your parents had been killed by a ghoul. Bobby Singer took you in after that and taught you how to defend yourself. After about a year you met John and the boys. Sam was around 2 years younger and Dean was two years older than you. You had a special connection with each of the boys, Sam was the best friend you never got to have and Dean was the person who was a complete mystery. Over the years your bond with the boys has only grown stronger and for the past year you have been in a relationship with the infamous Dean Winchester. You had been begging Bobby to let you go on a hunt and now that you were 18 he finally agreed to let you go under the condition that Dean went with you.
Bobby had found a simple salt and burn case a few towns over, so you and Dean go to investigate. After a couple days of researching you found the name of the spirit and the location of the body. You and Dean made a plan, you both dig but if the spirit shows Dean would distract it while you salt and burn the bones. However in true Winchester fashion nothing go according to plan. The ghost popped up earlier than expected and threw a wrench in the plan. In the end you manage to burn the bones, but not without a sprained ankle, a few bruised ribs and a broken wrist. The ride home from the hospital was tense to say the least. You knew that Dean would blame himself for the fact that you got hurt. Even though it was your rookie mistake of stepping in the way of a raging spirit. Dean puts the impala into park and doesn’t move. You both want to say something but the weight of the tension is too great.
“Dean I…” you begin but you don’t get very far before he cuts you off.
“Y/N I don’t think we can do this anymore.” He says without meeting your eyes. You can’t process what he just said until a minute later. It feels like someone has a vice grip on your heart and is starting to squeeze.
“Dean what are you saying. Is it my lack of experience? Are you tired of babysitting me?” you start to choke on your own words before you say your last words. “Is there another girl?” you let out in a whisper. That seemed to snap Dean’s attention as he looks to see the hurt in your eyes. He is fighting every instinct to not reach out and pull you into a hug. He turns his head away in preparation of the crippling words he is about to say.
“What? No of course not. But Y/N, tonight I realized something.” Dean replies, as he speaks he turns and looks at you straight in the eyes. “I don’t need you Y/N. You are weak and you hold me back. You should just stay home and stick to research. You are not a hunter Y/N.” By now there were tears in your eyes from the pain of his words. “You are just a girl who is trying to be something that she is not.”
You look into his eyes trying to see anything that might show that this is not real. All you see are stone cold pools of emerald green. You let out a harsh sob when you realize the weight of the situation. You look to see him still looking at you.
“If that is how you feel then I wish you good luck Wincherster. Just know next time you come to see Bobby you won’t be seeing me.” You say as you gather your things and left Dean in the running impala. You made good on your promise and left Bobby’s the next day, telling Bobby that you would only do simple hunts after you healed and that if he needed help with research to just give you a call.
Over the years you had kept you word to Bobby and kept in loose contact with Sam. He was your best friend after all. You were the first one he told about getting accepted into Stanford, and the first one to learn that he had gone back into hunting. You never asked about Dean and he never told you much other than the fact that he was alive, then dead than alive again. As much as you wanted to hate Dean for what he had said, deep down you still loved him. He was your first and only true love. And to this day he holds a special place in your heart.
---10 years later---
“Happy birthday Y/N!” your fellow bartenders called to you as you walked into work.
“Thanks Carrie!”
“Why are you even working today? You should be out celebrating with your friends!”
“Why go out when my friends are already here!” you replied as you embrace you friend. You had been working at as a bartender for the last year. Still taking a few small cases but mostly doing research for Bobby.
“True that!” she smiled as she went off to her first table of the night, while you made your way behind the bar and started your shift.
The night went by the same as every night, but around 11:30 your world seem to stop at the sound of one voice. You turn to see the man that you have avoided for 10 years. Dean Winchester. To make matters worse you see a fricken dark brunette supermodel attached to his arm. You almost get away without him seeing you but like so many years ago your plan got derailed as he calls out to you.
“Y/N?”
Hearing your name from his voice made your heart hurt all over again. But swallowing your pride and anguish you turn to face him.
“Dean! Hey! Wow it’s been so long. How have you been!” you try but fail to laugh out the awkwardness.
He replies with “Yeah it has been a long time. God it’s been like 10 years!” a little cough alerts you to the women beside Dean. “So right sorry. Y/N this is Nicole. Nicole this is my… my…”
You could see that he was struggling to find the right words to describe you, so like you use to, you say
“I am an old friend of the family. Dean and I practically grew up together.”
“Wow it’s so nice to meet someone from Dean’s past.”
She seems nice, and you wish you could find some reason to hate her.
“Y/N, Nicole is my girlfriend, we were working on a case and hit a road block, and decided to take a break.” he says with what looked like sorrow? No. Regret maybe? Within his hypnotizing green eyes you find yourself getting pulled in all over again. But the word girlfriend sends a whole new pain shooting like a bullet into your heart. Of course it’s been 10 years, it was foolish thinking that Dean wouldn’t have any more girls after you.
“Oh that’s great Dean.” You laugh to cover a dry sob. “Well Nicole it takes a special kind of women to get that commitment from Dean. So what can I get you two?”
“Whiskey.” Dean replied. You smiled at the thought. “Somethings never change!”
“I’ll take a Cosmo. Honestly Dean I don’t see how you can drink that stuff.”
“Well there is one thing wrong with her!” you thought to yourself. “Coming right up!” you smiled and went back to work. It took you a couple seconds to make the drinks, then you set them down in recorded time.
“Here you go, and if you need anything else just let me know!”
“But please don’t!” You went to the back room to call the only person you could ever tell everything to.
“Sam why didn’t you tell me you guys were in town?” you asked over the phone.
“Crap Y/N I complete forgot that you lived here. This case we are working on has me all twisted around. But judging by the underlying pain in your voice you saw Dean and met Nicole.” He replied solemnly.
“She’s perfect Sam! She’s beautiful, a hunter, and must have something that I didn’t have in order to have more than a one night stand with Dean.” You were all but hysterical. You mentally curse yourself for not being over the older Winchester.
“Y/N it’s not your fault that Dean is an ass. If it makes you feel any better I don’t understand what he sees in her. I can’t explain it but it feels off whenever she is around.”
“What are you saying Sam, that she is some sort of monster?”
“No it’s not that. It’s the little things like leaving for a couple days and showing up in the middle of the night. For an example she has been gone for the past month saying that she was visiting her family, but yet when we told her were the case was she came right away. I don’t know Y/N I guess I am just being paranoid.”
“You’re a hunter Sam, it’s what you do. Anyway my break is almost over if you need any help with the case just let me know.”
“Sure thing Y/N and be careful this thing has a thing for young victims.”
“Ah Sammy you know me better than that, I had the best teachers after all.”
“Still just keep a look out!” he all but begged.
“I promise Sam, call me later with any news.” You reply and hang up your phone. After all these years talking to Sam always makes you feel better. As you walked back on to the floor you saw the couple the same place you left them. The night went on and after an hour you noticed that Dean had moved to the pool tables and was minus a certain girlfriend. You wandered over to get him another drink knowing how much he drinks when he hustles.
“Where’s Nicole?” you ask placing his drink on the table next to him.
“Said she wasn’t feeling well. Went back to the motel.” He says while he lines up his shot.
“Ah I see. Well it was good to see you again.” You try to not let him know how much seeing him again has hurt you. Little did you know that he saw right past the façade but didn’t say anything.
“Same Y/N, its good to know you didn't get yourself killed.” He said coldly. He could see the shock on your face and it brought back the same pain that he had to hide the first time he broke your heart. But he was with Nicole now and he shouldn’t be having those feelings.
“Well Dean, I will see you later then, my shift is over so I will see you around. Tell Sam I say hey.” And with that you turn and walk away. “The nerve of that Winchester!” You think as you walk out to your car. You almost reach it when something grabs you from behind. You see a blue flame out of the corner of you eye, and the last thing that you hear before you black out is…
A/N since it is raining by me i figured it would be a good time to post a story that i had written a couple months ago and just haven’t gotten around to posting. I hope you guys like it.

Warning: like one swear word other than that fluffy!!
“Rain, rain, go away. Go fuck off and leave me alone.” You whisper to yourself. Yeah you knew it made no sense but at this point you really didn’t care. You had too many terrible experiences with the rain. One and the biggest reason why you hated rain is because it was raining the day your world ended. You were camping with your family when the wendigo attacked your site. It had killed your mother right away, then took you and your father back to his hole. Once there the wendigo killed your father right in front of your eyes. It would have killed you to if it hadn’t been for the Winchester’s coming in and saving your life. Ever since then you break down whenever it gets more than a light drizzle. The Winchester’s understood and never push the issue.
Over time you got better at hiding your fear. You were able to go on hunts when it would rain so the Winchester’s chalked it up to you moving on. It has been five to six years since the wendigo took your family and you have moved on. Besides you had gain to two family members. You traveled with them on their journey, living through all the bumps and deaths along the away. Being on the road with the boys you have been through more than you ever thought possible. One of the breaking points was when Lilith sent Dean to hell. Those were the longest four months in your life. Losing Dean was like losing your family all over again, because you had developed a major crush on him. But you never told him because you figured “Why would he ever want a broken wreck like you.”
After that night you stayed with Bobby, helping him try to keep tabs on Sam and some minor hunts. You were on a salt and burn a couple hours away when Dean had returned to Bobby’s. You walked in and called out “Hey Bobby I am back. You should have seen the ghost’s face when I lit it up!” you look around wondering where the hell is Bobby. “Hey Bobby where are you!” “In the study (Y/N).”
You head into the study not expecting anything out of the ordinary. Little did you know the love of your life was waiting in the wings. You turn and saw Bobby sitting in his chair. You hear movement coming from the kitchen. You look and stepping out from behind the wall was Dean Winchester. You looked into his emerald green eyes and froze.
(Dean’s POV)
Looking at (Y/N) standing there was heart breaking. She was just staring at me, and I could see her trying to process the idea of me being back. Our eyes connect and locked on. It felt like we were looking at each other for eons. She looked 5 years older than the (Y/N) that I left behind. The lingering innocence that was in her eyes when I left was now replaced with the eyes of a true hunter who has seen and experience way to much death for one lifetime. I decided that I needed to hear her voice.
“Hey (Y/N).” I say not knowing what to say next I go with my basic line “You look good.”
(Reader’s POV)
“You look good.” He said. Is that all he could say? It didn’t matter he was back. You ran to him and nearly tackled him to the ground. You embraced everything that was Dean Winchester. You started crying until you remember that he had left you alone. The only family that you had left in this world left you. So your anger bubbled inside and you stepped backed and slapped him across the face. It shocked both of you. You looked down and saw his armed wrapped so you knew Bobby had gone through the supernatural tests.
“Dean I am sorry. I didn’t mean to. It was just you were gone, and Sam left everyone except Bobby left me and I was angry.” You start to ramble.
“Wooh wooh (Y/N) calm down. It’s ok. I am sorry that I had to go. I never wanted to leave you alone. But wait Sam left? Where the Hell is he. Bobby?” he looks to Bobby.
“I tried to keep on him Dean. But when he doesn’t want to be found, he won’t be found. (Y/N) and I have been trying for months.”
“Well let’s go. I will find him.”
“How?” you ask “You don’t know where he is.”
“I know how to find him.” Dean says.
(A couple weeks later)
Finding Sam and finding out what had brought Dean out of hell had made these past weeks like a roller coaster. Dean had been changed from his time in hell and Sam seemed to have a darker edge to him. With all the problems going on you couldn’t think about anything else. You had managed to find a case to distract everyone from the over-whelming unknown.
Sam was at the library, and Dean was out getting supplies. You were relaxing in the motel room when the storm hit. It was a fast moving, damage-inducing storm and it terrified you. The power had gone out and that was when you broke down. You hide in the corner in the fetal position, praying that it would be over soon. You cursed yourself for being scared of a silly thing like this and you prayed that you could get a grip before one of the boys came back.
Somehow through the storm you hear the rumbled of the impala pulling up and you realize that luck was not on your side. Dean opens the door and calls out. You’re replied trying to sound normal but that came out was a little whimper. Dean drops whatever was in his hands and rushes to find you. You curse yourself for letting Dean see you like this.
“Hey (Y/N) its ok I am here. Nothing is going to happen to you.” Just feeling his arms around you makes you relax. He just sat there with his arms around you making sure nothing would hurt you. You had been crying so much and were so tired that you didn’t even catch when your mouth spilled your biggest secret.
“I love you Dean.” You blurt out through your tears.
“What? What did you say?” he asked. You could hear the confusion in his voice. Your face froze as you looked into those deep dark emerald eyes. Then you did the next thing you could think of. You started to ramble.
“Dean ever since you and Sam saved me from that wendigo I have loved you. I never said anything because why would an extremely sexy guy like you want a small broken loser like me. And when you got send to hell I felt like a part of my heart went with you.”
“(Y/N)” he said in a whisper. And the next thing you know he lifted you face and met your lips with his. Your head was spinning. He pulled away and even in the darkness you could feel the love between you. At some time during the kiss the rain had let up and the sun came out.
“You have no idea how long I have been wanting to do that.” Just then the power came back on and you see Dean’s beautiful green eyes looking down at you. He lifts you up off the floor and lays you down on the bed. You spend the rest of the night in his arms thinking about your future. You knew that with Dean by your side you were not afraid anymore.
