Hi, do you know the waiting times for top surgery on the NHS with Mr Phil Rubin in Newcastle? I was referred a couple weeks ago by my GRC. Thank you! :)

Unfortunately I think all waiting times are very much up in the air at the moment, due to the covid situation. I’d suggest trying to get in touch with his office to see if they can give you an update!

I recently had double incision w Mr Rubin in North Durham, only ever saw one result from him before hand so hopefully my results can help a few other people if they’re struggling to find anything for Mr Rubin🙂

Called Dr Rubin's secretary this morning, there's a six month wait, maybe longer from the time you've had your consultation to receiving your surgery date as they're having problems w getting beds and been having cancellations, etc.

hi, just wondering if anyone knows the waiting scale between the consult appointment w your surgeon to your surgery date. i saw mr rubin in durham in mid november and have heard nothing back other than a letter saying i’m on his list for a date. many thanks

Waiting times vary depending on the surgeon.  I’m afraid I’m not certain what the waiting times are like for Mr Rubin as I’ve seen varying reports of either 3 or 8 months for him.

You could contact them to ask if they’re able to give you an estimate.

This is the only person I know of who has publically shared photographs/experiences with Mr Rubin.  Anyone else been to see him?

Unfortunately we don’t hear much about them at all.  The last I heard was around 3–4 months, but it could have changed since then.

The best way to get an accurate estimate would probably be to contact them directly.
