Philly Roller Girls is now officially Philly Roller Derby!
"As our league and the sport of roller derby continue to grow, it has become evident that identifying as 'roller girls' may feel exclusionary to some in our community." - Joe Salenetri, General Manager.
I am so excited to see Philly make this change and hope it inspires other leagues to move in a similar direction! I personally think this more closely reflects the inclusionary attitude of the roller derby community.
