Friends of Cesar Romero - “One’s On The Way” Album Released: 22 Apr 2012
Joseph Kerr, the notorious leader of The Rogue Gallery of Villains has found retirement a difficult task to embrace. Hiding out in a suburban Phoenix retirement community, the pop craftsman has released another installment of concept rock cloaked in a 1960’s trunk of garage pop taking a trip to the country.
Not sweating the small stuff is not the same as taking no pains over the writing and recording - too often the two are conflated when discussing Kerr’s prodigious output. This is a record by a guy who just wants to rock, and not have to worry about how that rock will be received by anyone other than himself.
