9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?

Animals love Taliesin. He adores animals, he's very kind and gentle with them. He understands not to attempt befriending wild animals, but that won't stop him from standing within safe watching distance with a longing sigh. The Hawke family home is full of dogs and he keeps a few hens in their little backyard. Growing up, he helped farmers in Lothering so he could pet the livestock. Dogs are his most favorite, though!

12. What is their favourite food?

He's overjoyed to find any Fereldan dish in Kirkwall, but he cooks a lot more for friends and family than he does for himself. He stops by the Chantry often to give away breakfast pastries he's made to Sebastian and the rest of the clergy except Elthina. A treat he does enjoy and will wait all year for is the candy apples that only come around during fair season. Sure, he could make them himself if he wanted, but getting them at the fair just tastes better.

39. Do they like letters? Or prefer emails/messaging?

Letters are great for friends who are far away. He appreciates every letter he receives and takes the time to write back when appropriate. He eagerly awaits word from Bethany, even though they have a bit of a strained relationship when she first becomes a Warden. He'd rather be in awkward and impersonal contact than none at all.

In person is best, though!

They had gone out to inspect the car earlier and sure enough there were loads of new scratches to get removed and a rather sizable dent in the hood of his car. A still bloodied hood—one he needs to wash off stat.

When Josephine is speechless, Leliana’s blue eyes bore into him; she’s motionless, expressionless but for a single eyebrow raised at his suggestion. “Commander,” she says; they’re never so formal, not anymore, anyway, and yet she lets his title linger on her tongue, ring through the high ceilings of the room. “When did you start?”

27. best review you ever got: i think anyone who’s ever had the distinguished honor of having @ginnyq read their work can agree that she is the undisputed best commenter to ever grace the archive. so i am going to excuse her from this question because i have to give other commenters a chance (i love you ginny). i got this one at the end of AWA and it was really great! i get a lot of comments that are like “i couldn’t stop reading this so i read it in 3 days!” (which is insane y’all AWA is like 225k words) but this one just made me so happy :’)

2. Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

Ohhh ok i dont want to spoil too much of OFH but i am really looking forward to when Amelie and Cullen get to spend more time together. Its been drawn out a lot for plot reasons and i wouldnt have it any other way but it will be great to write some nice fluffy scenes between the two!

18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them

Ok so heres the thing lol. OFH started out as an AU to my Inquisition canon, where Amelie was a Circle mage. The thinking was she just like, didn't get the mage gene basically. It was a what if exercise that went out of hand lol.

So out there i still have one shots of when she was the Inquisitor but sorry Amelie your brothers kind of better at the job so...i kept him?

Other than that, as usual with my stories it went through a lot of iterations before i settled on what I have now. I started with a swapsies situation where the roles were just reversed before i realised that I'd struggle to tell a new story with that. Theres also been more minor changes like Amelie wasnt going to be there during the Haven battle originally, idk if that counts but yeah! Also at one point i was going to have Amelie have a living husband but like...he didnt do anything so i thought oh well he may as well be dead 💁🏻‍♀️

would definitely be excited for more of the Sera mod. 👀

If anyone ever has suggestions for things I could add to the Sera mod I’m always happy to hear them, seeing as I really only ever update that mod when I see something specific pointed out. So like 90% of the mod at this point is directly inspired by the Low Elf Esteem posts by @dalishious
